1Password are encouraging people to head toward subs model from what I've read, but can't recommend the standalone option more highly enough. I defo prefer having it in house rather than on their server, but perhaps that's naive of me?
The app Syncs nicely across iOS and macOS and really is brilliant. I've never regretted the outlay, with good and reliable updates giving more and more functionality.
