Virginia - maybe time to switch to Three, if you're out of contract with UW. Three's wifi calling works great. We are in rural Norfolk with a poor mobile signal from all providers (although Three is the strongest of them) and we can easily use our mobiles boosted by the wifi.

Hi,

I feel your pain.

UW stands for Utility Warehouse, and while EE is available via UW you don’t get
the full EE experience and unfortunately WiFi calling is not available on EE
via UW.
UW will let you rent a signal booster for the phone, I have it and its very
poor.

Steve.

Virginia,

EE definitely supports WiFi Calling. Are you manually connected to a specific
network such as university WiFi? You’d need to check with EE but this may
prevent WiFi Calling from working.

Virginia,

Looks like you are with EE mobile network. The Network Selection entry 'UW' is
an unknown to me. I’m with Three and my entry says ‘Three WiFi Call’. I’d
suggest checking with EE about using WiFi calling.

Tony

Thanks, Tony. Here are two screen shots of settings on my phone. It is not
picking up WiFi for calls in and out. Is there something I’ve missed?

Virginia,

You need to switch WiFi Calling on in Settings>Mobile Data on, assuming your
network operator supports WiFi calls.
