Sorry, to Phil if that turned up with his address (as it shows here) as the 'To' person, I think auto-complete got carried away!

Hi smuggers

I was really keen to try Universal Control so of course it doesn't work here. I have an m1 Mac Mini and also the very first 12.9" iPad Pro, *and* the latest 12.9" iPad Pro (M1). I can use either for Sidecar without any issues but neither will connect to the Mac mini for Universal Control. I should say that I have updated both to the right Os;)

On the Mac, in Displays, I see the Universal Control setting, and the three checkboxes for ways to connect etc. There is also - I gather - a way to do it via the drop-down menu that also gives access to Sidecar but this does not show 'keyboard and mouse' (as appeared in screenshots I've seen).

I've restarted everything, connected with a cable, bluetooth is on everywhere...I've tried 'pushing through the edge' of the screen too. I wonder if it's something to do with having two monitors but Sidecar works fine and I think that uses the same form of magic.

Any suggestions for other things to try? I only have one capable Mac

Cheers,

Jason
