Yes …

Nosing around the Inteerweb, I’ve found that this 'Apple designed' issue has
been around so long that there is an app designed to stop it! You can find it
here: https://github.com/tombonez/noTunes?tab=readme-ov-file

I will report back on its efficacy.

I use my AirPods a lot but, to my knowledge, I’ve not connected them to my Mac
at all as they are most used with my iPad and iPhone and occasionally with TV.
I think the only time I’ve ever connected them to my Mac has been when playing
games as it’s much easier to bash the keyboard when wires aren’t trailing
across it!

One possibility I suppose, is that I often listen to Podcasts in bed (currently
for this, which is an absolute MUST if you love this TV series as I do:
https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-jeremy-brett-sherlock-holmes-podcast/id1449254170)
and the Mac is next door. I wonder if when I first put them in my ears the Mac
grabs them before I have a chance to connect them with the iPhone? I expect
they are both 'within reach’ even though the iPhone is sitting on my lap!

Anyway, I will keep you posted.

Cheers,
Stephen

Two hydrogen atoms meet. One says, "I've lost my electron." The other says "Are
you sure?" The first replies "Yes, I'm positive."
