It's ok, I didn't take it wrong. See my reply joking back. lol Btw as always, hope none of mine came across that way either because they weren't ment that way. Even when we disagree, I for one enjoy the discussions....makes us think, and I find them highly interesting.

Psst ain't just us folks in the "Pentecostal tradition" my dear old Baptist grandmother, God rest her soul....would have had the VERY high BP reading yours. lol Of course she was FreeWill Baptist, but it was a topic that never failed to raise her bp. lol

I didn’t quite mean that to be as strident as it came across.  What I was trying to say, is that I didn’t expect you folks in the Pentecostal tradition would agree with me.  It’s one of the bigger points of difference in our interpretation of scripture.

You are welcome to disagree all you want.  Eternal security is an area we are never going to see eye to eye on because I think you are flat out wrong in your belief that one can lose their salvation.

Have to strongly disagree here, because He gives peace that passes all understanding. There is no fear of being lost as long as you live for Him. None whatsoever, much less continually......

"If a person could be once saved, then once lost yet again there would be no room for the blessed peace that is a characteristic of the born again Christian’s life. That blessed peace would be usurped by continual anxiety."
