September 30, 2003 -- DENVER - Kobe Bryant's defense team may soon learn more about his accuser.

Eagle County Court Judge Frank Gannett yesterday ordered police to cough up all records involving calls from the accuser's home in Eagle.

Two 911 calls involved "medical assistance" to the accuser's home, according to court records. A third was connected to the alleged rape.

The tapes could help Bryant's defense team learn more about the 19-year-old accuser - and the information could raise doubt about her credibility.

"If she made a 911 call following the alleged rape, Team Kobe will dissect everything," said Craig Silverman, a former Denver prosecutor.

"They want to argue that her words and tone are not consistent with a true sexual assault victim."
