LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - "Trading Spaces" designer Genevieve Gorder is about to be involved in a trade of her own, one that includes jobs and locales as well as living spaces.
Gorder will take part in a prime-time, grown-up version of "Switched!," an ABC Family series that has two people from different parts of the country trade lives for a short period of time. The show, which airs at 5 p.m. ET weekdays, usually takes two teenagers from different parts of the country and plugs them into each other's lives. For the prime-time episodes, which will air for six weeks starting Saturday, Oct. 11, adults -- some of whom are familiar faces -- will be involved. First up is Gorder, who switches places with Ben, a fishmonger from Seattle. She'll have to live with Ben's four roommates and spend her days at a fish market, while he adjusts to life in New York and hunting for fabric and other design-related goodies. Future episodes will feature actress Elisa Donovan ("Sabrina, the Teenage Witch") switching with a tour guide in Louisiana and Leeza Gibbons' personal assistant trading spots with a dude-ranch employee from Colorado. ________________________________ Changes to your subscription (unsubs, nomail, digest) can be made by going to http://sandboxmail.net/mailman/listinfo/sndbox_sandboxmail.net
