NEW YORK
-- The Federal Communication Commission has hit Infinity Broadcasting with a
hefty $357,500 fine for last year's St. Patrick's Cathedral sex stunt. The FCC
ordered each of the 13 Infinity-owned radio stations that broadcast the
episode on the now-canceled "Opie & Anthony Show" to pay $27,500, the New
York Post reported. Opie and Anthony capped a contest awarding prizes for sex
in unlikely public places with a play-by-play broadcast of Brian Florence and
Loretta Lynn Harper having sex in St. Patrick's in August 2002. Florence died
suddenly last month of a heart attack.
