TV station not yielding to Crowe demand

LONDON -- Russell Crowe reportedly has vowed to avoid next month's British premiere of his new movie if a TV show says anything nasty about him. Prince Charles is scheduled to be at the Nov. 17 showing of the hot-tempered star's movie, "Master and Commander." But Britain's Channel 4 has refused to alter its program called "Russell Crowe's Greatest Fights," the London Sun reported Thursday. A spokeswoman described the program as "a mischievous biographical documentary." An insider said: "It's about his violent streak." The Sun said the 39-year-old Crowe roughed up a BBC boss last year and was in a drunken brawl at a London restaurant. The documentary includes film of a row in an Australian bar.
