The "Brick oven" tip sure brought in a lot of mail and
questions. Having a gas oven/stove, a lot of people wrote in about electric ovens. Years ago I had an electric oven and the heating element was high enough off the oven floor to be able to place tiles under the element. I went and checked out an electric oven and now realize there would be enough room to place the tiles under the element if you are just using the tiles to evenly heat your oven. If you are going to use the tiles for pizza baking, place the tiles on the lowest rack of the oven. I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused. Greg Hopper
