Alleged Window Voyeur Caught
A Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police officer is facing child sex-abuse charges after he allegedly was caught secretly videotaping an 11-year-old girl. Forty-two-year-old Russell Bass is being held on $75,000 bail on charges including video voyeurism and child endangerment, the New York Post reports. "The alleged victim is a child whose privacy was crudely invaded and whose innocence has been shaken," says Queens District Attorney Richard Brown. The girl was showering in the morning before school when she noticed a hand holding a video camera in a partially opened bathroom window.
