A YOUTH-oriented clothing store located in the heart of the Portuguese
capital plans to give away clothes on Wednesday to any customer who is willing
to go shopping at the shop naked.
"Those who come naked, will leave
clothed," one of the managers of Yorn Store, Vera Guedes, told AFP.
Participants at the clothing giveaway will be allowed to undress inside the shop and will then be given a towel to cover themselves while they wait in the busy downtown street outside the store for the event to begin.
Once the signal is given, the shoppers will have to drop the towel before they are allowed to storm into the store nude and select one complete outfit - minus shoes - from the racks of the shop and leave without paying anything.
The shop, which has a huge stock of famous foreign brands as well as clothes
made by local designers, hopes to attract attention to its new fall collection
with the event.
