Depending on the purpose of the group, I can understand limiting certain
types of replies.  I *NEVER* see the value in putting a limit on number of
emails.  It has never made sense to me for people to sign up for an email
list and then complain when they get email.

I grumble when I don't have several hundred a day in here alone.  And I'm
far from on the computer all the time.  We are out of the house quite a bit.
It's all a matter of managing your email.  Using filters effectively and
learning how to read fast.
