Manuel Rosario's locker-room talk may get him locked up.
When police arrested the 21-year-old Cleveland man this month on
outstanding traffic warrants, he bragged to officers about a videotape he had
that shows him having sex with a "hot" girl.
"Make sure you get my camera," he told officers according to a police
report. "I'm on there banging . . . a girl."
The problem is that the girl on the tape looks like a juvenile and Rosario
is listed as a habitual sex offender, according to the Cuyahoga County
Sheriff's Department.
Now Rosario sits in jail and is the subject of an investigation by
Cleveland's Sex Crimes Unit. Police are looking for the girl, whose age they
do not know.
The tape also shows Rosario using dogs to fight each other, according to
court records. A case against him on dog-fighting charges is pending in
Cleveland Municipal Court. Rosario is in jail on the outstanding warrants.
Without the videotape, Rosario might have gone free. Bratenahl police
arrested him Oct. 4 on a routine traffic stop. Police said Rosario was driving
too slowly on Interstate 90. Three teenage girls were in his car.
Bratenahl police called Cleveland police that night to pick up the girls
because officers could not find their parents. Police also discovered
Rosario's outstanding warrants, and Cleveland police picked up Rosario about 2
a.m.
On the way to the 5th District police station, Rosario told officers he got
out of jail nine months ago. Rosario had been in jail on various charges,
including drug possession and corrupting a minor. Then he told them about the
tape.
