Here it is:
841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also
includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom
are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together
with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."

Cardinal Arinze said: "[A document from the Second Vatican Council] says
that God's grant of salvation includes not only Christians, but Jews,
Muslims, Hindus and people of good will.

It's a high possibility he may be the next pope. His teaching directly
contradicts Jesus' teaching that He *alone* is the way to salvation.

Now for those that don't profess the Christian faith that will not be
significant. But the Catholic church considers itself to be a Christian
denomination. How then can they continue to support the position of the
catechism and the teachings of this cardinal? Especially considering the
direct contradiction of the teachings of the Bible?

The interesting thing is in the Catholic Catechism (I could look it up for
the exact reference if necessary)it specifically says that Muslims are
covered under God's grace. That's a direct contradiction of what the
scriptures say.
