That sounds like a good deal. I might have to look into that. Course I like
shooting the guns better. More power....(LOL, I'll keep the comment I made
to Neil yesterday to myself) I've shot the .270 before. It kicked pretty
good, but if ya know how to handle them it's fine. I wasn't expecting the
.44 to do what it did when I shot it. Of course it had a custom made grip on
it that was almost too big for my hand, but I just took my regular stance
and needed really to have one leg out behind me to steady myself. I was
about a foot above where I was aiming when I shot it and I took a huge step
back. Father in law said it still would have been a kill shot if I had shot
a person with it b/c I was aiming at if it had been a man, around his crotch
so when it hit above, it would have been a chest shot. The only person over
there though that has outshot me is my FIL and he's always impressed with
how well I shoot and how the guns or their kick don't intimidate me.

You could get a bow that had a pull weight that you could handle.
Also, a compound bow is much easier to hold at full draw.

The 12ga. and the .270 kick a little... make sure you have it all
the way against your shoulder.
