I'm not sure, I just know what they
said. lol But I do know my uncle was the youngest of 5 kids, and I assume she
had breast fed with the other 4. Not sure though.....
And hey, no biggie...if you saw my
other one I think breast feeding is a excellant way to go and the best route for
some, just not for everyone. :)

well I don't want to
get into a bunch of arguments about this. But mother's were given milk for a
reason. If it wasn't enough to sustain a baby, they wouldn't have it. Most
times, issues can be worked out. I doubt her milk was weak. She probably just
needed to build up her supply. Or maybe she was trying to schedule her baby
like a bottle fed baby and that can cause problems with milk supply. The more
you nurse, the more your body produces. On the opposite note, you can fine
tune your body to only produce it when you need it. Like my friend who nursed
in the morning and night. She didn't leak all day. After about a week, her
body grew accustomed to when to produce the milk. So she'd nurse the baby
before work and at night and that's when her body was producing it. The body
is amazing that way.

My mother didn't work...and the
bit more work is precisely what I ment when I mentioned those hassles that
you wanted to know what they were. lol :P
Breast feeding is a excellant
option for some, but certainly not for everyone. My uncle, my mothers
brother like to have starved to death breast feeding because my Grandmothers
milk was so weak. lol

yeah because she
worked. My friend worked through both her kids nursing. But she nursed
while she was home and they got a bottle while she at work or away. It can
be done if you want.
Sometimes it's a
bit more work but worth it.

It was always a hassle for my mom, besides working and trying to
pump and constantly having her breasts leak and then my brother wanting
to breast feed every half hour, it was a major hassle. Once she started
him on the bottle and cerreal no more hassle, not to mention other
people could feed him (mainly me) w/o her having to
pump.
<My mother also wound up bottle
feeding, because of the hassle. lol Not to mention it can be
inconvienant at times if your out in public, no problem with formula.
:)>
What hassle?
The milk is ready to go at all times. No hassle with keeping it
refrigerated. No hassle with trying to find a place to warm it up. No
hassle with having to wash anything out when you are done. I nursed at
the mall, at the park, at the pool. Even in the grocery store once.
Most times people never knew.

I watched my mother try
to breast feed my brother, from the pumps to the wet shirts when it
leaked to you name it...when we bottle fed Nicole and had none of
that to deal with it was just as easy thanks. lol :)

Yep, my
stores just switched it around that way last year. Formula is
expensive and more hassle. I FF'd my oldest 3 kids. I nursed my
youngest for 18 months. Boy do I wish I had smartened up 3 kids
before her. Breastfeeding was so easy and convenient and I loved
it.

But expensive!! It is very high cost...I know in
some stores they have it upfront like the cigarettes
so that it doesn't get shoplifted.

===== I
wanted a perfect ending... Now, I've learned, the hard way, that
some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear
beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to
change, taking the moment, and making the best of it, without
knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity.
