This is how naive I am... Just yesterday I was watching E True Hollywood Stories.

Did you know that the beach boys recorded a Charles Manson song? One of
the guys was buddies with him.... until he pulled a knife in an argument....

Beach Boy lawsuit can continue

LOS ANGELES -- Al Jardine, a founding member of the Beach Boys, has won an appeal that allows him to pursue a lawsuit against other Beach Boys. In 1997, Mike Love threatened not to tour with the Beach Boys if either Jardine or Carl Wilson stayed with the band. But after Carl Wilson died on Feb. 8, 1998, Love was given control of the Beach Boys by Brother Records Inc. and sued Jardine to prevent him from using the name or any reference to the Beach Boys, Daily Variety reported. He also refused to pay Jardine for performances of the California band in which Jardine was not allowed to take part. "The California Court of Appeal accepted the principle that the wrongful conduct of Love (and others) in freezing Al out is a breach of fiduciary duty," Jardine's attorney Jeffrey S. Benice told Variety. A trial date is expected next year.
