Just
now getting a chance to read this Lowell, but my thoughts and prayers are with
you. Would you like for me to mention you to the joys and concerns list at
church?

What is wrong? I know I am still fairly new. But
I lost on what is going on with you. If you don't mind sharing with me. if
so, I understand. I officially have
"undifferentiated carcinoma of undetermined origin." Whatever the
origin, it was found in my bones already in stage IV, but no original tumor
was ever found. I'm MUCH better now than I was back in April and May,
but I still have a ways to go. That way just got longer today, as during
a consultation it came out that while my general blood counts are holding
steady, as is my alkaline phosphate count, the CA19-9 tumor marker has
increased back into five figures. It was in six figures when we started,
but dropped to four and then the high three at one point, then started coming
back up. So, I'm going in for an MRI tomorrow and a CAT scan on Monday
to try to help us develop a new plan, which will be either B' or C depending
on how much it changes from the current plan B.
I would greatly appreciate everyone's continued prayers as we try to figure
out what to do next. Prayers have gotten me through this so far, and I
fully expect them to continue until the end, whatever God rules that will be.
Best wishes, Lowell
