Well, I would say on my trip out West...the first hotel at Amarillo, TX.  The town was packed out...only a few rooms left in the town when we passed through there.  I got to a hotel and they said there were a couple rooms left down the street.  When we got there, there were 3 rooms left and I got one of them.  I think it was a Red Carpet Inn.  The bed was nasty...I think the mattress had something on it and you could smell it.  The bathroom had a problem...don't remember what, and the air didn't work so good...and this was in July up there with the temps hitting around 100 during the day.

The next morning trying to get a complimentary breakfast was the pits...to many people in line and the food sucked.  Anyway, on that trip that was the worst, and the last one came a close second of being the worst.  The rest were fine...and we stayed at about 6 other hotels all together.  Maybe the first one being so bad help make the others look really good. :-)
