Convert them to MP3 format and then "burn" a data CD with the songs...cool thing.  Some of the songs have distortion at some points because of the conversion, but I can deal with it...only affects a few of the songs with noticeable distortion.

Cool.  I would like to have that, but we don't listen to the radio enough to merit XM right now.  I did get me a new stereo...can't remember if I told the list.  It plays CD's,CD-R's, CD-RW's, and MP3's, so I have a Christmas CD with 220 songs on it playing in my truck.  I like it. :-)

I finally got mine installed in the car.  Early Christmas present.  It’s way cool.

Holiday Tunes on XM

Holiday Classics
XM 24 - Sunny

Includes all the family favorites: Silent Night -Richard Clayderman, Do You Hear What I Hear - Glen Campbell, Blue Christmas - Chet Atkins, Mistletoe and Holly - Frank Sinatra, Adeste Fidelis - Mantovani Orchestra, Christmas Song - Nat Cole, Sleigh Ride - Boston Pops, Silver Bells - Percy Faith, White Christmas - Bing Crosby, Little Drummer Boy - Harry Simeone Chorale, Feliz Navidad - Hagood Hardy and more!

A Special X-Mas
XM 30 - Special X
Begins Noon ET Thanksgiving Day and runs thru December 28th
Where do the categorically challenged holiday tunes of the world go to get played? Why, Special X of course! It's like the Island of Misfit Music! Hear funny, strange, bizarre holiday fare mixed together with your favorite rock holiday songs and every other kind of music you could ever imagine! It's as nutty as fruitcake but doesn't contain those gummy cherries that will pull your fillings out like fruitcake does. The most diverse holiday collection of music ever assembled is A Special X-mas!

Listen for XM's beloved "Mr. Christmas" to host segments of A Special X-mas...whenever he can stand up. Just don't expect him to always be coherent. No, we're not kidding. He used to be really popular on the radio many years ago but has fallen on hard times so the Special X crew hire him to do holiday stuff every year. Nobody at XM really likes him but we deal with him. We hope you will, too.

Don't forget the Special X-mas Holiday Pledge...

"We of XM 30 solemnly swear that we will never, ever play Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer."

On The Rocks Becomes "Holly"
XM 76 - On The Rocks
Begins Noon ET on Thanksgiving
The most popular and familiar holiday hits of all time. The Carpenter's "Merry Christmas Darling," Brenda Lee's "Rockin Around The Christmas Tree," and Bobby Helm's "Jingle Bell Rock," are just a few of the timeless classics that mark this celebration of the songs that define the pop side of Christmas. Sing along with "Holly"....you'll know all the words.

A Classics Christmas
XM Classics - XM 110
Begins Sunday, November 30th
Starting today, Advent Sunday, and continuing through the Twelve Days of Christmas, XM 110 presents literally a thousand years' worth of music for Christmas, from ancient chant to pieces composed in the last decade to traditional carols to such masterpieces as Handel's Messiah, Bach's Christmas Oratorio, and L'Enfance du Christ by Hector Berlioz.

The Spirit of Christmas
