Spaniards Strip for Nudist Cruise

Dec. 18, 2003 — Some 400 Spaniards have already snapped up tickets for a summer cruise with a twist, a tour operator said Wednesday, with naturists jumping at the chance to get naked on board.
Geisha Tours have organized the one-week cruise — a first in Spain — starting in Barcelona on June 14 and have already sold half the 800 tickets. Taking part in your birthday suit will cost anywhere from 400 euros ($480) to 1,550 euros. Nudity will be the order of the day, except in the restaurant.The crew of the Flamenco cruise ship will also remain attired for the jaunt around several Mediterranean ports as far as the Corsican port of Ajaccio and Nice in the south of France.
