Hello
Matt !
I got
one step further !
I did
follow the SMTP/SOAP FAQ and got to the point where I get the SMTP2HTTPBridge up
and running.
I then
run the GetQuoteSMTP and as a response I get the stock symbol parameter I
submitted ???
So if
I run :
java
samples.stockquote.GetQuoteSMTP mailto:dummy@bizeng1 bizeng1 dummy@bizeng1 bizeng1 dummy testpass
IBM
I get
IBM as my result ???
I
should be getting the actual stock price - why would I be getting the symbol
parameter ???
I have
sendmail and pop3 running on my localhost (bizeng1) and I have tested this
running the samples locally and from my NT machine and I get the same result
!
I
figure there must be something that is not quite configured to pass the request
with the stock symbol in it on to the SOAP Service - but not sure where this
would need to be fixed ???
Any
more help would be great - I can feel I am on the edge of a solution
here...
Thanks
Ryan
Lambert

Hi
Ryan,
Have
you tried walking through the SMTP/SOAP faq on the web-site (it is linked from
the top of the SOAP FAQ)? It goes into a lot of detail about how to get this
scenario to work. Also, there is no need to cross-post these types of quesions;
posting to soap-user will suffice.
Thanks,
-Matt

Status update: Identifying recipients...
Status update: Error: Invalid address: </soap/servlet/rpcrouter>
Status update: Error: Server replied with an error: Need RCPT (recipient)Anybody with some input ? Am I missing something ???Thanks
