I am getting error messages like
NoClassDefinitionError javax.soap.servlet.HttpServlett. Funny, it is in the
Common directory of Tomcat\lib\common\servlet.jar....
have set up the classpath with everything can think
of as well have edited tomcat.bat to include xerxes.jar first, then soap.jar,
mail.jar and activation.jar before tomcat.jar gets put in to it.
then I go to the command line and enter tomcat env
to set all the environment variables. Next I start up Tomcat. Then run
localhost:8080. Everything is fine so far. Then I go to localhost:8080/soap and
get the intro. good. but to go to admin/deploy or to visit then I get these
stupid messages.
Is it a problem that I am running windows
98????
I have includes the soap.war file, and even the
entire soap directory in tomcat\webapps.
I really need some answer. If you will say
classpath, then I need a really good explanation of just what that
means.
thanks
