The ByteArrayDataSource that can be used to create an Attachment has the following constructors:
ByteArrayDataSource(byte[] data, java.lang.String type) ByteArrayDataSource(java.io.File f, java.lang.String type) ByteArrayDataSource(java.io.InputStream is, java.lang.String type) ByteArrayDataSource(java.lang.String data, java.lang.String type) As you see, you can stream the input.
