Hi Vivek,
I'm also deploying SOAP through an applet and have GLUE and Apache SOAP
implementations written. The footprint is indeed quite a big problem but a
constraint we were willing to put up with. Does anyone know if these SOAP
implementations will work with Apache SOAP (or other SOAP implementations)
on the server?
To maintain interoperability and minimise dependency on third party products
we do not wish to limit our options, especially on the server side of
things.

Thanks.
Phill.

Valle,

You might want to take a look at something more
lightweight than Apache SOAP for an Applet.
  kSOAP (http://ksoap.enhydra.org/) and Wingfoot SOAP
(http://www.wingfoot.com/products.jsp) might be a
  better fit.
