My TCP tunnel GUI hangs and also the call.
when i dont use the tunnel , calls go fine . But as soon as i use it as a proxy call hangs. client is perl based and i can see that call is made and server sends the response ( whole soap envelope). (i see this in GUI) . It hangs here .. both GUI and client. i tried using it as a browser proxy too. It hangs again and cant render a simple HTML. I was logged in (X11 Session) as a normal user and did su to root in a shell. The error occurred as I tried to invoke TcpTunnelGui under root. As I did su back to a normal user I found out that there was a environment variable 'XSESSION_IS_UP=yes'. That variable was not set under root.
