Attention All, Saturday August 21st will be the day for the Seattle Area Soaring Society's BIG AMA Sanctioned Hand Launch contest. All pilots from around the World are invited to participate in this event. This is your chance to visit the beautiful Pacific NW in the height of summer, and compete against some of the best in the world! This event is sponsored by DJ Aerotech (www.bright.net/~djwerks) and by Thermal-Gromit Works (www.tgworks.com), door prizes will include: gift certificates, kits, and HLG supplies from both of these companies. The contest will be held at 60-Acres park in Redmond (www.reddata.com/sass/sixty_acres.htm). The pilots meeting is scheduled for 9am, with flying to start soon there after. Two classes will be flown, sportsperson, and expert, with the tasks chosen from those flown at Poway and at Muncie this year. Lunch should be available from the soccer concession stands across the street.
