I'd suggest checking www.skybench.com. Click on the rc sailplanes link, then "new to RC sailplanes". The site suggests the 2m lil bird, I'd suggest either the Big Bird at 100" span, or the OLY II kit. The OLYII might be an easier build for a first sailplane. Both are big enough to see well and will handle better than a 2M. Ray's kits are high quality with laser cut parts.

good luck

Hi all,

I´m from Brazil. I´m a glow-power R/Cer for a while and became interested in soaring. I live in mainly flat land without hills or slopes. I´d like to know suggestions for a reasonable bird for a newcomer like me. Do not matter if kit or plans built, in fact I´d rather the latter.

Thanks
