My Son has been having a ball with his in Denver. He has found that there
is a website with Aero Ace fanatics, who have found that if you take off the
bottom wing cut it in half, glue the tips the existing wing, add some down
thrust to the motors....It is totally thermal capable and flys great!
He has done the LED night flight conversion too. Says it flys better with one wing and better yet with the extended
wing.
Some have move the motors further out on the wings for added control There is apparently another mod that allows you to run just one motor at time so that you don't get the pitch with the yaw. He is absolutely having a ball , and that's great because this was supposed
to be his best year of snowboarding...all new equipment supplied to him, passes
to everything West, the beast snow ever...and he broke an ankle rock climbing
and detached his retina from a poke in the eye by a dog paw.
So he's back to RC and I am very happy about that part of this.
