Gordy, I believe postmark time is not the bottom line,
when it gets to McCarthy is the bottomn line. Check me out on this.

If you check sub paragraph 1.4, on page 9 of the rules
posted on the Masters website, you see in very fine print that all entries
received on the same day will be sorted in this order....
...."those entries with time stamps will be sorted
according to the time stamps, and those with out will be sorted in the order the
postman stacked them in Jim's mail box...priority beginning with those on the
bottom of the stack...in the event that Jim has had too many beers and drops the
pile, the date stamped envelops will still have priority, but the non-date
stamped pile will be put into a giant tumbler, spun for exactly 11 minutes and
the drum stopped with the opening exactly at the 10o'clock position. The
envelopes will be drawn by a newbile and received in the order drawn...
etc."
So you see they really thought this out...GLAD I thought
to get mine time stamped!
And by the way,,, I was just trying to give everyone
some hope of beating me to the time....but mine is actually time stamped
12:00am. :-)
