The XP4 wing has the AG455ct (thinner airfoil from the SuperGee11) root airfoil and is made by me. The XP4.5 has the thicker AG45 (thicker SuperGee1) root airfoil and is made by Shane Spickler. The other consideration would be availability and you would have to ask Denny about that. I hope that helps in your decision process, I can't think of any other significant differences between the two models.
