We had 10 winches out, which ran pretty much flawlessly all day and were amazingly matched.

There was seldom a delay in spite of the fact that we shagged our own chutes...and had really long lines set out.

The lift was typical of a hot and very humid day with light breezes....tough to identify and even tougher to work.

We flew about 20 rounds of 10, staring with one of 8, just to get the cobwebs out.

The top group got slapped around a bunch of times but I doubt anyone had as crazy of a day than I did flying...well if you could call it that. :-)

In the end it was Insanity er I mean Mark Gellart who took the Expert Class.  Supra's proved to be super as usual and Pikes did their usual amazing flying.  Icons are Icons and always have the edge in these guys thumbs.

AVA's and the laser cut Bubble Dancer sold by Denny Maize, really were the ships in Unlimited...Don Cleveland had it in the bag with near perfect flights and landings...our own Ben Wilson had his BD flying to perfection, for second in Sportsman.

I'm exhausted after too much BBQ ribs and chicken at the field party and fun flying until near dark with Joe Melchoir and Nashville Scott.

Chuck Anderson took wood today with an AVA, Don Richmond took wood with a Supra, and Tom Scully all in the Seniors groups.

Chuck can't stop talking about how much he likes Man on Man seeded scoring!

Tomorrow the plan is to fly 10s, a lot and make landings :-)

Really tired,
Gordy
