I recently purchased three microstamp 4 receivers w/ Berg crystals. Thus far I'm very impressed. I just ordered four more. I really didn't expect it to do what they advertise but CC made a believer out of me. I've flown over 1000Ft away with no noticable glitches. The most impressive test was when I tried to cause interference by switching on another transmitter on the same channel. Both Futaba transmitters on CH 18 one 6CH transmitter and one 4CH. The little receiver PASSED THE TEST. It would not respond to the second transmitter even when the first one was turned off. NO glitches at all. Just to verify the results I turned the second transmitter on first, plugged in the receiver and then switched on the first one. Still no glitches and would only respond to the second transmitter. I still can't believe it! Thats when the Berg bug hit and I ordered more. I don't know how far out it will go, but with the programming feature you could do a lazy circle to get it back if you get out of range. None of my dual conversion receivers can do what this Berg has done. I wouldn't chance using a diffrent crystal other than Berg, and they are priced right. As for me forget the DX radios as I don't need them. What I need now is the 7CH version to finish my little Fleet. No I don't work for CC, Just a very happy customer!
