I'm selling a
custom-made sport winch. This is
truly a work of art. The spool
was turned from a solid billet of hardened aluminum that is supported on the
outside of the drum by ball bearings.
The end plate has a custom engraving of a sailplane as a nice finishing
touch. The motor is new, readily
available and rebuildable should the need arise. It has a very effective belt
brake. The attachments are heavy
duty Anderson Power Pole connectors for the battery and the foot switch. This makes for very fast and easy set
up and take down. The spool is
supplied with nylon-braided line for the ground line and Spectra for the line
that goes in the air with your plane.
The turn-around is from Little Big Winch. A new parachute is included along with
the battery cables. Power this
winch with a lawn tractor battery and you'll be able to fly all day and
more. I'm selling this winch
because I have another one that is my main winch. This has been sitting on a shelf in my
basement. It's been used three
times in total. It can easily
handle a 3 meter sailplane and of course anything below that. The unit weighs about 24 pounds so
it's easy to carry. This is a
very first rate product that will last for several years. Shipping and packing should run no
more than $25 anywhere in the lower 48 states. My price is $550.00 plus shipping and
packing so a total of $575.00.
