My experience is typically no. There are plastic polishes available, but
that usually takes off the light stuff. There kits available from aircraft
suppliers skygeek.com Mirco-Mesh Aircraft Window Restoration Kit (Heavy
Damage Removal) $84. I have tried it on an auto headlight that was sun
damaged and didn't have much luck. Best off replacing the headlight and then
put on a protection film that can be periodically replaced.
