My shoes, socks and feet are soaked!  I'm exhausted and wind burned.  Talk about a tough day!

Yep she had me working in the yard today, it would have been a lot easier being at the Masters today in spite of the weather.

I notice my standing keeps dropping, was kind of hoping they'd just average my flights and then add that into my score for each flight :-)

I can tell you this, there is NO luck involved, those guys on the top of the list are making decisions, hundreds per flight.  They watch their plane's wing tips, tail and energy, using that info to slide from side to forward to side, in order to ride the currents of lift.  They watch the air in between rounds, well the planes in that air, to determine patterns, hoping to take advantage.

In some cases the pilot has a great caller/timer, who can suggest strategies...others prefer to go it alone.

Right now it looks like the German, Phillip Kolb has the edge....but tomorrow it might be an Australian!

The tents and banners have all blown down, the great food and beer too, all that's left now is winches, landing spots sailplanes and pilots.

There's big dough on the line, someone will be able to buy some goodies for himself in the end....and walk away with the title Master of the World of RC Soaring.

Snuggled up warm and toasty in my own bed for a change
