Fred. . . .I've developed a system of mounting servos that is easy to fabricate, simple, inexpensive, sturdy, stable and adaptable to most any commonly configured servo. The servos are easily secured and easy to remove. It's all detailed in File 3 in the Genie pages at http://genie.rchomepage.com/. I call them HEMS (Harley's Easy Mounting System). I've looked at the various commercial servo mounts (Greening, Volz, Hitec, etc.and much prefer these. After making a couple of plywood guages for a particular servo as described, it's easy to make a set of 4 in a half hour or so for pennies each in cost. I developed the HEMS for use with the Rotary Driver System, but they can used with traditional installations as well. Unless afflicted with a terminal case of ineptitude, I see no reason why anyone can't turn out these little no-brainer mounts as well. A jig saw, scroll saw or band saw works for the wood pieces. Some common spring clamps and some plain wood glue like aliphatic resin sticks things together. K & S makes the brass strips used for making the brackets involved.

Take a look. Let me know what you think.

Thanks to all who suggested Craig Greening at servoframes.com but the web
site seems to have disappeared. Anyone know what happened?
TIA
