Marc,
Even more amazing is the fact it took no time at all to sale. Of course if
you take into consideration that the plane was completely ready to fly and
basically brand new, most of the top line competitive planes out there are
nearly the same price by the time you buy the air frame, the electronics and
spend any time building or should I say installing the gear in the plane.
Most of us do not consider our time spent building when we figure in the
cost of a model but on average I would say most ARFs would qualify to add at
least a couple of hundred dollars for the build. It does not take long to
add up to close to a grand for any of the latest and greatest DLG's. I just
wish my old, fat, out of shape body and bum ankle would still allow me to
enjoy chucking a $1000 DLG around. I guess I will have to stick to a really
cool Electron II Electric that flies like a DLG on Roids and is easy on the
body.
See Ya,

Subject: [RCSE] Price of DLG's
On RCGroups tonight I saw something that I thought I would never see for
sale, a $1K DLG, it is a Vandal fullhouse ship with RADS. Be the first to
admit that I have spent my fair share on ships, but a DLG for $1000? That
environment is way too tough on airframes for me to toss that amount up
into the crowded HLG skies. Hell, it is too tough for $150 ships.
