I was on the AMA web site today and while there chose to use the Model Aviation 
archives.  I wanted to look up Dan Pruss' column on the first NATS I attended 
in 1985 at Chicopee, MA.  Reading the article was fun and the pictures of 
friends, some now departed, all looking much younger were a treat.  Some 
interesting facts about this event were discovered.  Only 4 winches were used.  
Two meter had 95 entries, standard (100" or less) had 107, and unlimited had 
120.
I found those statistics and the picture of a very young JT very interesting.
