Dennis has an SBXC for sale. See message below. He lives in Bishop.
I'm going to Bishop for the weekend and could bring the plane back with
me if anyone is interested. Let me know quick. I was going to drive
the Honda. If some one wants the plane, I'll take the truck.

Hello Dudley. I have decided to sell my NIB Super SBXC that I
impulsively bought at a Fall Fest from Dean Gradewell about 5 years
ago. I am tending toward simpler, smaller and easier to transport models
and not giant gliders like the XC. I know from recent posts by you and
other SVSS members that there is an active XC contingent in the
Sacramento area. This glider is all white on top with black on the
bottom flying surfaces. It comes packed in the custom wood box that
Dean made to transport the glider. I seem to recall I spent about 1300
for it back then. I'm not sure what a fair price is today.
I also have a complete servo set purchased from Dieter at Shredair
including small Vozz servos (suitable for tail mounting) to drive rudder
and elevator. I also have an Easy Patch 12 system purchased from Dieter
to connect up all the electronics. I don't know what I was thinking
when I purchased all this stuff. I do know that I will not
realistically ever complete this beautiful model. My modeling friends
and I fly mostly small electric motor gliders, DHL and electric park
floaters as well as slope. The high starts are languishing in my garage
as are most of my thermal duration models.
Any way, I thought I would drop you a line in case any of your buddies
might be interested in any of this stuff. If so they can contact me on
email. I plan on posting it on RC groups in a few days. Sounds like
your club is doing well. Regards, Dennis Brackett
