[RCSE] Hitec Spectra RF module failures

Greetings Glider Guiders,   My 2nd Hitec Spectra frequency synthesizing RF module just failed. Both units failed after approximately a full season of use. They both failed in the same mode -- gradual reduction of the range down to about 50 feet over a period of an hour or so. Obviously the final RF stage is what died. I used the modules in the same Futaba 8U xmtr.   Anyone else experienced similar problems? Anyone else using the Spectra?   Please reply to [EMAIL PROTECTED]   Thanks, Waid Reynolds
