The ultimate sailplane radio?  For me it's the Airtronics Stylus.  JTModels
have them for $330 (transmitter only).  The glider card is an additional
$100 or so.  I notice that many of my soaring buddies also use the JR 8103.
You don't need an additional options card for the JR.

I like the Stylus because it can utilize many of the aftermarket receivers
that are out now.
