I haven't used that exact technique, but I have made a set of wings by molding the wing panels in the beds of a foam core (discarding the core), then gluing the top and bottom halves together with an internal spar. I used a 3 oz glass / 16th" balsa / 3 oz glass sandwich for each panel, and bagged them in mylars in the beds. Seemed to work fine. -- Tim Olson RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
