Nice photo, but they are definitely overstating the odds in getting a shot of that.  
I've seen quite a few photos like this, and
even got one myself of the black Playboy Bunny F-4 Phantom doing it (admitedly not 
nearly as nice a picture as this one).    If you
get a chance to go to an airshow down by the water, you are pretty much gauranteed to 
see this.  At the Pt. Mugu airshow in
California, you can sometimes see the phenomenom (sp?) flashing on and off for the 
entire length of a flyby.

Again, very nice photo, but not "once in a life time."  Check these out....
