Certainly, but this has been deftly accommodated by the designers of the 
barbecue grill, which allow exactly two hot dogs to fall into the coals. The 
benefits of this system accrue directly to the family dog, and serve as a 
classic example of nature's efficient exploitation of human ineptitude.
