Just drove back from Weiser (Idaho) to Ontario, then across to Burns and down 395. Are there any guys on RCSE who live near Weiser/Ontario/Payette? Wow, are there some great ridges up there! In fact, all over the place are bare steep ridges, hogback DS ridges, and fabulous thermal potential (black volcanic rock). In SE Oregon, for the first time I've seen, Abert Rim (one of the most spectacular cliffs in the western hemisphere) had uphill wind.
