One of the newbies that fly with us at Maluhia bought one of those Cyclone
planes and flew it the first time yesterday. The first flight went
uneventful - till he landed. He didn't lawn dart it in or anything bad, but
the wing rod bent. We actually found out that the wing rod wasn't very
stiff. You could actually bend it with your hands 8^(. I would definitely
switch to a hardened steel rod if getting into one of these kits.

Subject: [RCSE] AMD Cyclone experience?

Anybody know about AMD's Cyclone wingeron slope ship? They ran an add in
the latest S&E Modeler and it looks good on paper and on the site. Just
seeing if anybody has any experience with AMD or with the Cyclone.

The site is at:
http://www.amd.org.hk/

and the Cyclone page is at:
http://www.amd.org.hk/cata/cyclone.htm

There's also a short movie at:
http://www.amd.org.hk/mov.htm

Any notes would be great.
Thanks!
Brad
