This is the way my DAW 1-26 is setup, shouldn't be a problem.
I don't take the wing out of my DAW 1-26, since it fits in
my car (sideways). If you have to remove the wing, you either
need to remove one of the rods and aileron clevices, or make
a notch in the fuse for the aileron clevice to slide through.

The DAW 1-26 kit uses a solid balsa tail, this should be
OK also.
