My understanding from a "Locktite" rep is that both temp. and humidity have an effect on Cya. Temp is no where as important unless very elevated. The recommendation to keep the Cya in the fridge/freezer is to not only keep it cold (cold slows reactions), but also fridges/ freezers have exteremely low humidity inside, thus helping both life-extending properties. >From: "Walba, Rick" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >To: "'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, >"'[EMAIL PROTECTED]'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> >Subject: RE: [RCSE] CyA question >Date: Fri, 1 Sep 2000 14:17:59 -0400 > >Just going by what the supplier told me, who keeps his stock in the >freezer. >In fact, the directions on the back of Loctite Black Max Ca say to >refrigerate. > >Rick > > > ---------- > > From: Bill Swingle[SMTP:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] > > Sent: Friday, September 01, 2000 1:53 PM > > To: Walba, Rick; [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Subject: Re: [RCSE] CyA question > > > > I was under the impression that the shelf life of CyA is not limited by > > temperature but rather the absorption of ambient moisture. > > > > Comments? > > > > Bill Swingle > > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > Janesville, CA > > > > >RCSE-List facilities provided by Model Airplane News.
